Darryl Browne is the founder and consultant of Browne Linkenbagh Legal Services, and one of New South Wales’ leading lawyers in wills, estates, and elder law. Kirstin Fulcher | Special Counsel

Kirstin Fulcher is Special Counsel at Browne Linkenbagh Legal Services, bringing extensive experience in wills and estates, probate, and succession law to the firm’s respected practice. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and her practical, client-focused approach, Kirstin provides clear and compassionate guidance through some of life’s most significant legal decisions.

With a career spanning over two decades, Kirstin has developed deep expertise in estate disputes especially complex estate litigation in the Supreme Court of NSW.  She is also experienced in estate administration including probate and letters of administration in NSW, Queensland and Victoria.  Kirstin assists clients to protect their assets and uphold their wishes with care and confidence. Her ability to balance technical precision with empathy makes her a trusted advisor to families and individuals across the Blue Mountains and greater New South Wales.

Prior to joining the team as Special Counsel Kirstin worked for 8 years in the complex litigation team at a leading Sydney firm.  She also lectured in succession law at Sydney University.

Kirstin also plays an important mentoring and leadership role within the firm, supporting the professional development of our team members and contributing to Browne Linkenbagh’s culture of excellence and integrity. Yasmin Bakshi | Senior Solicitor

Yasmin Bakshi is a Senior Solicitor with extensive experience in the area of wills and estates as well as protective matters.

Prior to immigrating to Australia from the UK in 2016, Yasmin worked for a large global law firm in Manchester, England.

On arrival in Australia, Yasmin worked for a large law firm in the estate team before securing a position as Tipstaff for The Honourable Justice Lindsay AM in the Supreme Court of NSW.  She then moved across to private practice with a top tier estates firm in the Sydney CBD gaining invaluable experience in the areas of probate and estate planning. 

Prior to joining the team at Browne Linkenbagh, Yasmin worked for the NSW Trustee and Guardian in the estates team and for the Law Society of NSW in-house addressing Professional Standards for solicitors across the state.

Yasmin has specific expertise in the areas of estate planning and protective matters including elder abuse.  Her carried experience across differing facets of wills and estates matters means she can provide specific and tailored advise to clients in a range of matters.

Adrian Chicharro | Solicitor Director

Adrian was admitted to practice law in 2003 and has focused on suburban practice since that time in a wide variety of areas including commercial disputes, construction law and wills contested estates.  Along with his law qualifications, Adrian is a Civil Engineer and an Accredited Mediator.

Adrian has a passion for helping people locally and believes that Blue Mountains residents should not have to travel to receive expert legal advice and guidance.  He is pleased to take over the firm, ensuring the lasting legacy of Browne Linkenbagh for several more decades in the Blue Mountains.

Shani Lee | Senior Paralegal

Shani has worked at Browne Linkebagh for over 20 years and is an essential part of the team.  She has extensive experience in wills and estates as well as conveyancing matters.  Shani has been assisting Darryl for many decades in helping clients with their will disputes, estate planning and estate administration issues.  She is well connected and well known in the local community and an asset to our team.

Michelle Allen | Senior Paralegal Wills and Estates Team

Michelle has worked in the legal industry for over 30 years.  She commenced her career in the Hawkesbury area working in the wills and estates team with a local specialist lawyer.  After the sale of this firm, Michelle transitioned to a medium sized firm in the Penrith and Parramatta areas.  She remained there for over 10 years before moving to Rafton Family Lawyers and now the Browne Linkenbagh team.
Michelle has extensive experience in the areas of wills and estates, including assisting our professional staff with probate applications, letters of administration and general estate planning work.  She has a great rapport with clients and her years of experience make her an asset to our team.

Kate Rafton | Solicitor Director

Kate is an award winning solicitor and was admitted to practice in 2002.  Like Darryl she is an accredited specialist and has dual qualifications in Family and Children’s law.  In addition to her law degree, Kate is a registered nurse and has completed post graduate studies in trauma and critical care nursing.  She was previously a Clinical Manager at Nepean Hospital Intensive Care unit before establishing her own firm in 2007.

Kate has for the past 20 years been operating in private practice and is excited to now incorporate Browne Linkenbagh under her legal banner, expanding the range of specialist services in wills, estates and estate litigation to clients in the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney region.
